- Start A Conversation – Suicide is Preventable - Across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, Start A Conversation works with multiple service-providers to ensure residents can easily access free and confidential advice and support. - Harmless - An all age self-harm service, including therapeutic treatment, dedicated to providing support for those who need their help. You can make a referral on their website.
- Healthy Together 0-19 service (School Nursing) a confidential, secure text messaging service where you can access professional health advice and support. Parents and carers can text on 07520615381.
- Early Intervention Service provide emotional support for those aged 5-18 with low to moderate mental health needs to access this service you will need to be assessed by your GP.
National Support Services
- Samaritans free helpline 116 123 if you need to speak to someone you can call anytime on this number a service where you will be listened too. You can also try the self-help app to help you keep a track of how your feeling.
- Young Minds Textline offers free 24/7 text messaging support if you need to speak to someone about how your feeling text YM to 85258.
- NSPCC helpline provide support and advice for free on 0808 800 5000 to help you understand why children and teenagers self- harm and what you can do to support them.
